After an absence of 2 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Belgian Mountainbike Challenge (BeMC) is back on the calendar in 2022. With Ekopak, a new main sponsor has come on board and we are therefore doubly motivated to make the 2022 edition the best BeMC ever.

Time for some statistics of last weekends race.![]()

Frans Claes and Joris Massaer rode the fastest lap with 1h29min16sec. Only three other riders, Simon Gregoire, Pieter Janssens and Sieben Devalckeneer, were able to go under the 1h30 mark.![]()

Nobody was faster in lap 2 or 3 than in lap 1, nobody was faster in lap 3 than in lap 2.![]()

Only three riders were less than 1 minute slower in lap 3 than in lap 2. One of them was winner Frans Claes. Claes was also the fastest of all riders in lap 3. ![]()

Thomas Sprengers and Seppe Rombouts were the only two who were faster than Frans Claes in lap 2.![]()

And last but not least...22 riders were faster than our trackbuilder with his ebike 🤣
